Welcome to Open TrollingMotor Project

The idea behind the project is to rework or upgrade a standard trolling motor like MinnKota or MotorGuide for around 160 € with function:

  • Hold position by GPS
  • Hold heading by Compass
  • Set a route by App and send it to OTMP
  • Get information from chartplotter (Hummingbird,Lowrance, Garmin, etc) by NMEA2000 standard
